'til Tuesday

Hush hush
keep it down down
volcanic ash carries

And I'm still stranded...'til Tuesday. The worst part is my camera battery is dead. So no more pictures...

TUESDAY??!! No friggin' way! Oh well...I guess you'll just have to find a way to use that $200/day expense account. I don't know how much you like modern art, but the Tate Modern in London is in the old Bankside power plant, and looks like a groovy place to spend a few hours.

Dude, you are the second person to recommend the Tate. A good excuse to go back into town. And all British museums are free.

However, I'm considering forming an expedition among my brethren stranded passengers to Stonehenge this weekend. We're all running out of cash, so I figure we can pool funds to get a rental car. About an 1-1/2 hour away.

Mind if I ask you to call my boss about that $200/day expense account? I'm pretty sure I spent that waiting on hold with Delta Airlines.

This really isn't funny anymore.

Weird...some kind of synchronicty happening here...I purposely avoided making yet another Hardy reference when I noted the "bloody sun" quote from the link to the article about the volcano, but I cannot let the Stonehenge reference go without saying that, in addition to an undoubtedly super-cool place to visit on its own merits, it also plays a key role in the amazing conclusion of Tess, which I described earlier as Hardy's masterpiece. Also, I misread your post re: $200--I see now that it is the rate for your hotel. In any event, your employer should generously reimburse you for your unplanned extra duty in a foreign land, not to mention for that nasty looking burned toast/black pudding stuff on your breakfast plate.
