Why Bruins Win

I emailed a description of this scene a week or so back.  Good hockey is fun to watch.  Wish the Sabres could play with this much passion.

[BTW - the best way to view is to click twice on the picture so it opens YouTube in a new window.  Click "watch in high quality" just under the video frame.]

Not quite a donnybrook--more like a tussle--but good anyway.

I said the same thing. Donnybrook not the right word. Anyway, it was fun to watch:

a) Ward get his melon planted into the glass,
b) Thomas stand by his man and plant Kostitsyn's melon into the ice, and
c) Everyone drop sticks and raise gloves in a heated scrum.

Would like to see that kind of passion from the Sabres. I repeat myself when under stress...

You know the Sabres are in trouble when only Ratboy is hitting people. Never thought I would say Ratboy and hitting in the same sentence. Hmm. Gotta love Thomas, even if it was a bit of a cheap shot. Let's see how tough he is when someone is ready for him. Donnybrook is way overused in the NHL these days, I prefer scrum for something like that.
